I am using the title for my post today per the headline of an article that appeared earlier last week in the LiveWell section of the Spokesman Review. It had some very good success stories about local people who have improved their health and achieved some amazing weight loss goals. Congratulations to all of the people represented by those stories. They used a variety of methods and I think it is important to note that you have to find the right way for you.

I happen to know Grace Schluter and her husband, who are one of the success stories. Grace is now a TSFL coach and they did it with Medifast. I am an advocate of the products as a way to “kick start” your personal program to reach your ideal weight. The products worked for me but they are not the only answer for everyone. The success of any program will depend on how you go forward to keep the weight off.

Healthy weight loss and maintaining your ideal weight all starts with good food choices. I am very happy to share with you that I now have a way of creating healthy food plans for clients. I recently became a licensee to use the data base and analytics from ESHA Research. ESHA has a distinguished history in the food industry of producing analytic software with an extensive data base that has become an industry standard. I learned about it through the nutrition department at the University of Idaho. With access to ESHA’s Food Processor software, I can take apart just about any recipe and let you know the calories and nutrient values. It is going to be a big help in customizing food plans that can be a benefit for you. I am also really pleased with ESHA’s scientific and nutrition support.

For friends who are in the process of reaching your ideal weight goals, I want to praise you and encourage you to keep going. For those friends who have hesitated and are still thinking about pursuing a weight loss goal, now can be the right time. I also noticed in that same newspaper that Christmas is just 14 weeks away! Well, how about giving yourself the gift of a slimmer and more vibrant “you”? With a good plan, where you can safely lose about 2 pounds per week, you could be 28 pounds lighter by Christmas. I can help you with a plan to reach and maintain your goal. I personally want you to be able to enjoy real food and feel healthy.

Just remember, you can win that “losing” battle.
